Introduction
Kenya Sullivan, LCSW, is a UC Berkeley–trained licensed clinical social worker who specializes in identity-based mental health interventions that advance equity and social justice in higher education. With advanced certifications in CBT, DBT, EMDR, and Domestic Violence Advocacy, he brings both clinical expertise and a social justice lens to his work. .

As the founder of Kenya Sullivan & Associates, he has delivered transformational professional development across California's community and state colleges and probation departments, focusing on the unique needs of system-impacted and marginalized students. Kenya's "culture of care" framework equips educators and leaders with tools to recognize identity-based trauma, build affirming environments, and embed anti-oppressive practices into campus policy and practice.

His interactive, research-based workshops center liberation psychology, critical race theory, and intersectionality—empowering institutions to create equity-driven solutions that foster both academic success and collective healing.
